  1. Brodeur

    Legace

    Turco

Fleury (who will be better than Brodeur)

    Osgood

    Thomas

  2. Putting into considering the team he plays on, who gets the most out of his ability?

I think I will give the vote to Thomas, he's a former Nordique pick and played in Finland, plus he's got that old school mask!

Another reason behind my reasoning : The other goalies although great tend to have many more years of NHL experience and oftentimes know the shooters tendancies .. play on better teams (or at least have better D help)

Legace doesn't get the credit he deserves, but I am appaled that someone 5'9 wears 37inch pads. At that height he should be wearing 32's! Seems like an unfair advantage a la Barry Bonds

  3. Hands down...Martin Brodeur.

  4. Marty B is #1

    Marty T is #2

& I'm glad Nabby didn't make your list.

  5. Brodeur

  6. In order..........

    1. Martin Brodeur

    2. Chris Osgood

    3. Marty Turco

    4. Manny Legace

    5. Marc-Andre Fleury

    6. Tim Thomas

  7. 1. Martin Brodeur

    2. Chris Osgood

    3. Manny Legace

    4. Marty Turco

    5. Marc Andre Fleury

    6. Tim Thomas

  8. Brodeur.

Turco in a distant second... although I'm going by Brodeur's history (how can you not bet on Brodeur... one bad playoff showig seems like a fluke to his career).  Turco was phenomenal this past post-season and as good as Osgood was he didn't hang out there like Turco did.

    Brodeur

    Turco

    Legace

Osgood - good but he's like Giguere. People love him when   he's hot but he's not hot that much.

    Fleury

    Thomas

  9. 1. Martin Brodeur

    2. Chris Osgood

    3. Marty Turco

    4. Marce-Andre Fluery

    5. Manny Legace

    6. Tim Thomas (he $ucks, and I'm a Bruins fan)

  10. BRODEUR,, OSGOOD

  11. Brodeur.  Fleury is good and getting better, but he's not there yet.  Osgood is your man from April onward, but before that he's ordinary.  Legace and Turco are overrated.  And Thomas hasn't proven anything yet -- not even what Legace and Turco have proven.

  12. Brodeur

    Thomas

    osgood

    Fluery

    Turco

    Legace

  13. martin brodeur

  14. MARTIN BRODUER ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. THATS WHY HE WON THE VEZINA

ALTHOUGH I DO THINK THEY ALL ARE GOOD PLAYERS. IM A DEVILS/ BRUINS FAN

  15. obviously brodeur

  16. 6.Manny Legace-Blues

    4.Chris Osgood-Red Wings

    2.Marc-Andre Fluery-Penguins

    5.Martin Brodeur-Devils

    1.Marty Turco-Stars

    3.Tim Thomas-Bruins

Sorry Broudeur....you didnt did that good this year:(

    WHY WONT THEY TRADE HIM!

  17. I'd have to say Fleury. He is an amazing young player and he was consistent throughout the season. Marty Turco put up a heck of a fight in the playoffs against the Wings so he deserves recognition as well. Osgood was a brick wall during the playoffs and the Stanley Cup Final but he didn't play as much during the regular season which is why I wouldn't vote him the best even though he was a big factor in winning the Cup. GO WINGS =)

  18. 1 . Marty B

    2 . Osgood

    3. Turco

    4. Fleury

    5. Thomas

    6. Legace

  19. Chris Osgood, Ozzie has proven he can be consistent and he has the talent to come alive at any time

  20. Personally I'd take Turco... Many will diasagree, however I've always thought that his success has resulted in playing under a good system,  good coaches.

While he is a good goaltender, I fell Turco has the ability to steal more games

  21. 1. Martin Brodeur

    2. Chris Osgood

    3. Marty Turco

    4. Marce-Andre Fluery

    5. Manny Legace

    6. Tim Thomas (he $ucks, and I'm a Bruins fan  Goal

  22. Brodeur- Turco- Osgood- Fleury (but marching his way up)- Legace (hard to choose between him and Fleury.. but I think with Fleury's potential he wins out)- Thomas (career journeyman withone good year)

  23. Manny Legace is the best goalie in the NHL!

    Chris Osgoos

    Marc-Andre Fluery

    Tim Thomas

    Marty Turco

    Martin Brodeur

  24. At this moment I'd have to say Brodeur, but down the road, Fleury and Turco would top this list (Brodeur is getting up there in years, and not sure how many years he can continue to play 70 games during the regular season).

  25. door slam shut by Brodeur still remember that line  the 2nd best to me is Turco he was crazy against the sharks in 08 playoffs

  26. 1.Martin Brodeur-Devils

    2.Chris Osgood-Red Wings

    3.Marty Turco-Stars

    4.Marc-Andre Fluery-Penguins

    5.Tim Thomas-Bruins

    6.Manny Legace-Blues

  27. Brodeur, followed by Fluery

  28. brodeur by far..but give fleury a couple years and he will be a great goalie too

  29. 1) Brodeur

    2) Flurey

    3) Turco

    4) Osgood

    5) Legace

    6) Thomas

  30. Brodeur.  Not even close.  He's in the same category of Plante, Sawchuk, Roy, etc.

  31. Without a doubt Martin Brodeur. Whoever said fleury is the best is an ideot. I wont deny it, fleury is a very good goalie but when his +6 thighrise legpads are banned 2 years from now he will be a joke.
