Which golf ball is the best?

the Pro V1 and Prov1 X are the standard. i use the callaway HX 56 tour myself and find them just as good in every area.

I LOVE the playability of the ProV1, but I love the way a Nike One Black 2006 (not 2007 they feel weird) feels and flies off the tee.

For you, or which sells the most?

For you, it depends on your game.  Do you want a soft feel?  Do you need want to drive the ball straight and long distance?  Do you often lose golf balls?  Match them to your game and what you can afford.  Titleist has several that could work.

Titleist sells the most per year.  ProV1 is a very big seller, but they cost $40+ per dozen new.   NXT tour has many of the same features as the Pro V1, and sells for about $30.

get the February 2008 issue of Golf Magazine, they have a great article about 54 golf balls testing and what is good for certain golfer....fairways and greens

Titleist ProV1s. They are long off the tee, not overly responsive to spin yet play nicely around the greens with the wedges. They are durable too. Only downside is they are about $50 a box, but they are worth it.
