Which golf clubs are good for a high handicapper?

I own a set of cleveland Tour action, and big bertha steel head woods, are they good for a 18 handicapper?

  1. those clubs are more than adequate assuming you have a decent set of irons. with an 18 handicap I suggest that you practice as much as possible. Driving range, chipping and putting greens. The equipment is very important but with out the proper technique they won't help a bit. Check with your local course course and see about lessons from the club pro. They are not very expensive and cheaper when taken with a group. Good luck
