Well hi there,my wife and i spent a fortnight in Hong Kong this May and can tell you clothes from the markets over there are alot cheaper than the UK.If you go to Stanley Market there are some great bargins to have ,my wife loved it there.Stay away from the shoppings malls if you can they are full of designer wear and as you would expect very expensive although worth a look(lol).

Public transport there is so cheap you can travel anywhere in Hong Kong and not have to worry about the cost,whether its by train,bus,ferry or tram.Buy an ocotpus card when you arrive at any rail station and Hong Kong is your oyster.

Some electrical goods are cheaper but make sure you but from a reputable shop not from the markets,its along way to send something back lol. cheers.

some things are cheaper but some are not BUT........ my mate has got an 80gb memory stick i dont think you can get one in the uk.

so there are many things you cant get in the uk than hk.

Just depends on what you are looking for,

Primark, very cheap clothes,

Tesco, Asda, very cheap for clothes,

£1 Shops in every Town,

Netto, Lidl, very cheap for food,

Ikea, vey cheaps household goods,

Markets,

Lots of Electrical goods are going cheap this Summer, Argos, Currys, there are Sales everywhere
