Which groups of people do you think are underprivileged, and what do you think should be done to help them?

hihi. i need to write a proposal (for school purposes, duh) advocating for an underprivileged group of people, and propose something that will help them. it has to be feasible. and needless top say, i need ideas!! i actually proposed something else, but my teacher said it wasn't FEASIBLE. so now i have to do another one. thank you for your help!!

what about the disabled/ ageing population or those living in impoverished circumstances due to lack of education so they turn to criminal activity. When they are punished and/ reformed, they are then released back into the enviroment from which they came, only to repeat the bad behaviour.... not enough is done to prevent this reoccurence.... what do YOU think??

im not against them, but lots of people dont like black people because they think that they might be agressive and because of things that have happened in the past

you can talk about how they might find it harder to get a job, to fit into society, be friends with people etc...

UNDERPRIVILEGED:  those who do not have the personal ability to provide the necessities for maintaining  the basics of living...

BASICS:  food, shelter, clothing, health, education.

It is my opinion that there really is a smaller class of underprivileged than is thought to be.  Did you know there is a luxury tax of your home phone??  And eating out is a luxury.  And driving is a privilege not a right??  The USA Constitution outlines clearly what rights a citizen has.  IT DOES NOT OFFER LUXURIES.  The question,then. is:  Do we, as a community, owe less fortunate more than the basics of life??
