  1. Some christian music i know of needs B7 and Bm7 and Em is important

  2. Sooo:

C, C#, D, D#, E, F, G, G#, A, A#, B - plus all minor, dominant 7th, major 7th and minor 7th....at the very least. And learn to read music and some theory behind it...so that you don't just cram up like a monkey but know what you're actually doing (this can help: http://www.smu.edu/totw/toc.htm)

Also, you should expand your range of genres. One 'genre' or style is not enough...christian music doesn't have that much to offer musically. Unless you meant BLACK christian music of course. But still, start listening to a wider range of genres.

Genres which have much to offer: jazz (standart or fusion), rhythm & blues, soul, funk, classic rock, heavy metal (pretty varied so can offer a lot), progressive rock (again, very varied, so I strongly recommend)...but the most essential for guitar playing: BLUES...who can't play blues, will never become good

Also, it helps if you listen to classical music.

    Good luck.

  3. B Bm Cm  Dm Fm Gm learn your 9th chords up the frets, it's the same fingering just different frets, the 9ths are nice sounding chords. check out www.justinguitar.com free site, it will help you. Start experimenting with power chords, google them on the internet to figure out what they are. Experiment with the D chord lifting one finger off the string and strumming, try lifting different fingers and hammering them back down.

  4. all  minors  and majors that should keep you busy for a while

  5. B, A7, C7 and F# come to mind.  (You already know the most important ones, from there its just a matter of learning the right chords for the pieces that you want to play - there are thousands of variations of the basic chords.  I would suggest just finding songs you want to play and learn the chords for that song)

  6. a lot of praise music has the G (or G/B), C2, Dsus, Em7 chords which r fun cause you have an anchor on the b and e strings so its easy.....other good ones are Bm, F#m, Bsus, A2, Asus.....christian music tends to like those 2s and suspended chords cause they can "walk down"....a good resource is iwillworship.com .....they have a ton of chords for christian songs......good luck!
