today i went out to buy the epiphone dove but basically no stores have it. everyone i went to had the hummingbird so i played it and i loved the feel and sound and the guy there said that they for the most part sound and feel the same and all so i'm not exactly asking your personal opinion of its sound or feel but more the look.

i like the color of the dove more because i don't like the whole yellow red thing of the hummingbird but since i can't find the dove i'm starting to think that i should just get the hummingbird. based on your opinion what would you pick if you were me or just which do you like better.

if you're not familiar with the guitars,

  1. The dove is a nice, solid guitar. It has nice sound to it. But the hummingbird is probably your best option. It has a great sound, and its very nice quality. Not to mention its a bit cheaper that the The Dove. I am also not a fan of that sunburst kind of colour, try and get the black if you can, looks cool.

  2. i think the second one looks better and since it costs less, it seems like the better choice

  3. i like the hummingbird

  4. i like the second one

  5. looks like veryone like the second one

    GO FOR THE hummingbird =]

  6. Hummingbird is HOT and I'm pretty sure it would look hotter if you bought it

    Tales of the Dervishes

  7. I think you should buy the dove but black

  8. I could tell you which guitar is the better quality but in all honesty you have to get the one that feels the best when you play it, that is the major factor, forget about the look.

  9. neither i think you should get a fender

  10. They do sound similar.  The old Gibson Hummingbirds are very collectible - Doves less so.

  11. I don't envy your decision, but I would chose the hummingbird. Like you, I love the feel of it as well as the sound. I've actually owned a couple when I was younger. It just feels right.
