i usually see it on the left wrist, probably because most people are right handed (so it doesn't bother them while they write)

but he should wear it on whichever is most comfortable

If he's right handed, id say it would go on the left.

If he's left handed, i'd say right.

Just my opinion. You don't want a bracelet jingling every time you reach for something. It's just not manly :p

But i don't think there's any set rule. It's which ever wrist feels right.

For some, it doesn't matter, but for most:

If you're right-handed it goes on the left wrist.

If you're left-handed, it goes on the right wrist.

This is due to the hand you use the most, you should place the bracelet on whichever hand is less likely to "collide" with a damaging surface.

Typically watches are worn on the left if you are right handed and vice versa. Therefore a bracelet can be worn on the other...I don't wear jewelry so to me it doesn't matter
