    AAK97

    AAKJ9 wins because it's higher, AAK are the same in both cards. Look at the fourth card, AAKJ9 has a Jack, and AAK97 has a 9. Jack wins over 9.


  2. I'll assume there is no FLUSH.. in which case the player with the JACK wins the hand.

    If.. instead of JACK.. the player had a card lower than 6.. both players would have the same hand. (AAK97)

  3. Because both hands have a pair of A's and a K kicker, the next highest card determines the winner....the J is next highest, therefore the winning hand  is A  J (assuming that there is no chance of a flush in either hand)

  4. depending on the suit situation - the Ace Jack kicker would win because the jack is higher than the 2
