  1. As the first post says... depends on what you are trying to install for.. I have installed Fedora core 4 on a Pentium three (P III) machine with 128MB SDRAM.. for local testing / development use in my office. (basic LAMP installation with sendmail configured), and also on an AMD 1.6 Ghz machine with 128 MB RAM., it works good. I have in both cases used 10GB HDD.


  2. That depends on what you are trying to do with it.
