But it depends on your needs to which fields you want to go

Computer Science deals with software as well as hardware

IT deals with majority of software

both are equivalent however its safer to do IT as it gives u the option 2 join both software n hardware as comp engineers are said 2 have saturated the industry

IT is better n wider choice as compared 2 Comp Science. CS is a sub-set of IT. In CS u cover only computers, but in IT  other tools of communication r also covered....n who knows when d computer is going 2 b an ancient and futile device...may b soon...
