  2. I did my research/homework well in advance before I stepped into my local high-end photo store. That way I could get the feel for my options right in the palm of my hand. Not only did I like the feel of the Canon XTi I even got to check out a couple of lens, the back home I when online www.bhphotovideo.com  I have been doing business with B&H Photo for about 25 years. I purchased a new XTI w/Tamron's 18-250 macro zoom lens.

    I have owned this for a year now and have NO REGRETS what so ever, I love it and plan on using it for many years to come.

    My pick was the Canon over the Nikon and that was my choice and, you or someone else may make another choice.
