I am doing a statistics essay about the US and Latin America. The facts state that the US has about 834 airports , does Latin America have more than that or less?

Why do you think this is true?

    Look at following website for Latin America airports.

    Also, your list of airports (834) lists only those with regularly scheduled flights.  It does not include all of the airports that are used for private aircraft.
