  1. the ford 460 would be nice in a 1967 ford mustang fastback

and the 528 hemi would be cool in a 1969 dodge charger rt

now that would be a race !!!

  2. ill take the hemi and put it in about 52 plymouth stationwagon----very-very-stock looking '52 plymouth wagon---SATURDAY NITE FUN OUT ON HWY HUNDRED ! !

  3. the hemi in a 69 camaro and cooter your 454 is a torque engine to so it don't really matter what you put it in so don't be telling him it should be in a truck

  4. I have a 72 Nova with a 454 1000cfm roller motor. I am a Chevy guy so you know what my answer is. 460s have problems with the way they are cooled, they tend to get hot. As for the block the Chevy has them beat by a mile as far as workability and strength. In my nova I have a 3.73 solid rear end with 12" slicks, Well lets just say if I put it to the floor going 70 on the freeway, you better be prepared to get sideways. All the motors you listed are torque motors so I would suggest they would go in a pickup. I used to have a ford ranger that a put a souped up 460 in that was pretty radical. But I have definitely had the best luck with my Chevy's as far as getting parts, the price of the parts, easy to work on and the $ to HP ratio is the best. In my dream world I would like to have a 68 Camaro SS with an all aluminum 427 with a blower of coarse You should see it, often I am at a stop sign and some kid pulls up in some j*p car and starts revving, the motor hisses like a cat and sounds like a weed whacker. I am thinking to myself"what the heck, are you serious, in that rice burner When we take off I stay right beside them with the pedal down about a 1/16 of an inch, then after about fifty I put it to about half throttle and I leave them like they are not even moving. You cant beat the rush and the sound of an all American classic Car.
