Which hdtv converter is the best?

How do you know which to pick. Are they all the same? What do I look for when I pick one. What are the various capabilities? HELP!

They are all pretty much the same.  I would go with the cheapest one that is still a name brand that you recognize.  If you don't like what you see when you plug it in, take it back and get the next most expensive one.  :)
