  1. It looks like a non easy cracking nut, looking arount here, you may find something useful for you.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  2. Try www.thehealthbenefits.net I think it's a great plan. See for yourself

  3. Well, most are about the same, but the real question is, which one is best in YOUR STATE?

In order to find out, you'll have to talk to a local, independent agent, near you.  They can compare plans and rates.  Which won't do you much good - as if you have a pre-existing condition, they'll either not cover you at all, or exclude the mental health bit.

  4. Group policies from any company. Group policies are federally mandated to offer mental health coverage, and many states also mandate additional coverage.

Most individual policies do not have or have very limited mental health coverage. With an individual policy an HMO from almost any company in your area will generally have better coverage options than a PPO.

If you are currently in treatment, even if it's just medication, expect to be declined or ridered with most companies. There will probably be at least a waiting period before coverage will begin. Visit a local agent that works with all the major companies in your area. The agent can explain the coverage available with all the companies and can help you select the best plan for your situation and budget. There is no extra charge using an agent.

Be very wary of medical discount cards. They are not regulated by the Department of Insurance nor do the people that sell them need to be licensed. This means you have little recourse when you have problems with the plan. If you are tempted by the low price and claims of “save up to 80%” be aware that very few doctors actually take these cards. It does you little good if you have to drive 4 hours to find a doctor that will accept the card. Montana couldn’t find any doctors in the whole state that actually took the card and only one dentist who was on probation for unlawful activities so they banned the sale of the card and fined the company. See this link http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/wes... for more information. Many other states are starting to ban these cards as well.
