  1. mud does..............................

  2. None. There are no herbs you can safely take that can mess up your hormone levels badly enough to suppress hair growth.

And, BTW, if something you eat could stop the hair on your legs from growing, it would stop the eyebrows and scalp hair too ...

  3. Saw palmetto will help slow it. It is weird because this herb helps with dht(dihydrotestosterone) which is hairloss is places that it shouldn't be(like the temples) and helps impede hairgrowth in places where it shouldn't be growing. If your body is making too much testosterone you will have this problem.

  4. As was mentioned above you probably have an imbalance in hormones!!  It doesn't take much!! It could be hereditery or even something more direct and simpler than that!! It could be environmenta! For example, plastics and their use with foods can leach out into the food!!! plastics can mimic estrogen in the body and create havoc that way!! Even the hormones given to livstock can have an effect upon people -especially those who may be more sensitive to their presence!!!  Get your hormones tested !! You will need a GOOD specialist in this since most doctors are either ignorant or just push such notions to the side!!!

Good doctors for hormones woud fall under the category of anti-aging doctors since they deal with hormones in each and every case that crosses their door!!!!!

  5. this is one of those areas where each person's condition determines the cause of the problem.

quite often, unwanted facial hair (chin, lip, lower cheeks) in women is due to what is called Yin Deficiency.  I'm sure you are familiar with the terms Yin & Yang.  Yin - compared to Yang - is quiet, dark, deep, slow, nighttime.

I think you should find a good acupuncturist/herbalist & have them diagnose you properly.  This is definitely a treatable condition, but it often takes some time to reverse.

A couple things you can do now:

    1. Start getting more sleep.  Be asleep by 11pm and get 7-9 hours/night.  Night is more Yin & when we are deficient in sleep, we are often deficient in Yin.

    2. Start eating a more Yin diet.  This means more root vegetables (vegetables that grow underground or are round), egg yolks, deep sea fish, etc.  Eliminate the hotter, spicier, more Yang foods like beef, pork - most animal proteins, in fact - , coffee, excess sugars, etc.

    3. Do a yin-type exercise, like yoga, taichi, pilates...

Check out www.acufinder.com for a licensed acupuncturist & herbalist near you.

  6. Well, if you are talking excessive hair growth, then its probably a matter of hormones being out of balance, especially estrogen. Parsley is great for balancing hormones, and improving overall health. Dandelion root helps rid your body of toxins that can cause hormones to be out of balance. And Red Raspberry Leaf is great at balancing out "womanly" hormones. If you are looking for something that will just naturally repress hair growth, I don't think there would be much out there that would be safe to take.
