  1. Buffalo idk how they didn't make the playoffs Miller is a top 5 Goalie i could also see chicago or pheonix

  2. Next Year: The Phoenix Coyotes will be the most improved.

    They have Goaltending

    A great young core.

They will pick up a star or 2 in the offseason.

They will make the playoffs since 2002 next season!!

  3. Tampa and Buffalo, I say..

  4. You gotta think Tampa and LA Kings aren't going to get any worse. Can't see my Leafs getting a lot better this year either.

There's 2 up one down. Tampa will be the most improved of those 3.

  5. I want the vancouver canucks to improve but with the loss of trevor linden and luc bourdon..nest season is going to be weird.

    Hopefully they don't drop lower!

  6. LA will finally take the next step...the talent is certainly there.  Even though they suck I like watching this team and it's players.  With a goalie they could make the playoffs.

  7. Certainly the Coyotes and the Kings, although now that El Lay has no coach it's all dependent upon who ends up behind their bench because that team is so young.  You could throw Florida in that mix if Jacques Martin would decide that he's a better coach than GM.

  8. Ottawa. They're gonna work really hard to make sure they don't have another seasonb like the one they had this year.

  9. I would go with either LA or Tampa Bay if either one can get some Goaltending...

  10. Neatherlands

  11. I got to go with PHX and LA (they need goaltending though) I could also include Chicago.... but I think Chicago would have made the playoffs this year if they didnt have so many injuries. They get better by default and could make some noise next year come playoff time! I might also add Washington to this list. If the owners continue to show willingness the get Ovie some help.. they could be a force to reckon with next year also!

Edmonton could actually win the NW if they get decent goaltending next year!

I dont see Buffalo getting much better as they are overloaded with forwards and need to strengthen their Defense! Unless they do that via trades and or free agency... I cant see them getting better.

I see Vancouver falling even lower.. yes they got Luongo, but they are obviously in a rebuilding stage.

Tampa, I think, will be better.. but I think they are 2 or 3 years away from competing with the Elites of the League!

Atlanta will continue to fall. No one wants to play there and what players that do sign... will be players that were not taken by the Teams they would rather play on. Almost like a, well d**n, I guess I am stuck with signing with Atlanta type thing.

Nashville will continue to trend backwards... I think the whole BOOTS bankruptcy will make it hard to keep players that they have. It may be hard to get them to buy into the team again.

Florida could end up with a really bad year IMO! Their reluctance to rebuild and just stay at Almost making the playoffs will finally bite them hard next year!

  12. We will see, when the season starts.

  13. Tampa Bay Lightning........

Mike Smith will come through (or they'll sign another good goalie)

Steve Stamkos will live up to the hype.....

They'll sign a few key players in the off season...

And BAM! We have a contender!

  14. I say the blue jackets and blackhawks.

  15. ask this again in mid july, when we get a better look at teams, there are still a lot of ifs, but i say the oilers, blackhawks, or the kings

  16. I really have to go with the Coyotes.

Great goaltending, and they showed a knack for

scoring timely goals; even being able to come back.

Gretzky has that team turning around.

Another team I can see getting better is the Panthers. When they decide to build around Vokoun, watch out!

When the Sabres figure out Miller is NOT the number one goalie they will improve.

  17. The Montreal Canadiens.
