Which homecoming dance should I go?

Okay so I'm a junior in high school and I just transferred to a new school. My new school's homecoming dance is scheduled on the same day as my old school's homecoming dance and the time overlapped. I know the old school's dance is definitely going to be a blast because it's being held in a real club rather than the school gym and a lot of my good friends there asked me to go, but then I'll have to face the haters who hated me because of me transferring to an academically better school. Also a lot of my new school friends are excited about the homecoming dance in my new school as well, but the thing is the new school don't even have a football team! Their homecoming is for soccer which is def. going to be a bummer. So which homecoming dance should I go? (By the way... the schools are about 80 miles away so I could only go to one of the two.) Please help me to decide! =[ This has been hanging in my head for a while now.

I would go to a new schools homecoming, since you are new in school and definetly need to make an appirance and you need to set a certain reputation for your self, and if possible go to an after party in the club with your old friends, i know you said its 80 miles away but after parties are all night, so you could pull it off.

If I were you, I would go to the previous school's Homecoming. Who really cares if there will be 'haters?' Just ignore them, and dance the night away and have a blast!
