Hi Everybody! Sorry to bother you guys again, but I've found some great horse properties, with some help from some answerers, and a bit of exploring online myself! Alright, so here are the 'best' ones, that we have found so far!

I have to say, I really, really like this property. The website it was found on is exclusively for horse properties, so you probably can't go too wrong in that aspect, and the acreage is manageable, and its in our price range. Any input on this property?

I do like this property, but it does not say much about the house, or show many pictures. The barn certainly seems big enough for my 2 horses, but I'm not quite sure. It is in my upper price range, but it also does not need any installation of a stable, barn, or fencing. Any input?

This property is great, but the only 'upsetting' part is that it is not in Maine, which is the state we were really hoping to get property in. But, me and my close, close friend both have family members in this area of New York, which is wonderful, but the only part is the price. I understand that New York is a fairly expensive state, property wise, but this is out of our current price range. Maybe with a bit of extra work on our part?

This one is much more in our price range, and is somewhat near both me and my best friends family members, the acreage also seems more manageable than the previous property. The house could use a bit of renovating, and I'm not quite sure of the condition of the barn, but its obviously suitable for horses, judging by the beautiful pictures of horses on the property, but we'd have an additional $150,000 +/- to do whatever renovations we needed, which is more than enough, so I;m liking this piece of New York, and ideas?

This one is out of our price range, so there would be a very small margin for renovating.g But, it is a alge parcel of land. with a barn. Any ideas?

  1. hey there,

I Absolutely LOVEEEE the third one! I mean seriously that is cheap for what it is :) Its wonderful! And you could proobably use some of the extra stalls for board and maybe earn some money back :). And probably sell some of the acres as well :) Its so nice.

ALso, the 1st one seems suitable for what you need. I mean its pretty much a so so property that would fit the 2 horses you have and you and you best friend. So I mean its your call obviously :)

But by no means let someone else make the choice for you. Make sure you and your friend decide together :)

  2. LOVE LOVE LOVE the third one xD the barn is gorgeous, the land is gorgeous (with plenty of space), and the house sounds nice. There would be planty of storage in the barn, enough stalls for boarders (extra MULLA) + your current horses and even another if you see fit.

The price may be a bit OVER for YOU but in my area that is like MAJORALLY CHEAP...a house like that is normally in the $800,000+ range with that much acreage. That is why I think you should definetly look at it first, and ask alot of questions. There might be some wash out issues, house issues, or something of the sort. The thing is you could make some money off oof it :) You could sell some back 5 - 30 acres and make a good chunk of cash, and like I said the boarding opption would be good to :D

I would definetly look into it, but if something is not right with it I would look into the second one also it seems nice...just the third one is soooo my favorite :)

    GOOD LUCK

    **EDIT TO YOUR EDIT :D**

I wish I could help you more on how much yo could get...I live NO WHERE NEAR NewYork so my best guess is yours. I will tell you in my area $300 is good for average care...$400 if the stalls, paddocks, and care are nice :)

I am also sure alo of people would pay more for haveing a more "homie" feeling with there only being 2 or 3 boarders...rather than 10+

Same, for the acreage I really wouldn't know...not completely sure what it would go for in my area either lol.

I would do some research...look and see what cleared and uncleared land in that area goes for. Also, look uo boarding prices :)

    GOOD LUCK XD

  3. I love the 5th and the 3rd one

  4. Wow where you live you sure get alot of land for your dollar if i were to buy 90 acers here in california it would probably be at least a million dollars.

I like the second and third one
