  1. If you're from the UK I recommend http://www.hosttell.com/one They are one of the leading European hosting companies (hosting over 500 000 websites), and they currently have a promotion in the UK. They are offering free hosting and a domain (You have to pay the £9.50 setup fee and that's it). Every plan includes Photo Gallery, WebEditor (so you can build a website without knowledge of HTML), Google Adwords coupon (so you can advertise your website on google for free) and a lot more. Check them out.

  2. my sister does photography and she used her myspace to advertise.

and she also has a deviantart and a freewebs.

    good luck!

  3. www.freewebs.com is a simple website builder to use.

Here is my site as an example.

    http://www.achtungbarry.com/index.htm

  4. I would recommend a website builder if you don't know html or how to code a website. Go to http://www.topblue.net/ and highlight build a website and click website tonight. This also comes free (as a bonus) to getting a domain for $7.49 per year. That also includes free email so you can keep in contact with clients.

  5. I would suggest you get your own domain name such as Laurenphotography.com or something like that.  I use 2mhost.com to host my site and I'm still working on my site (www.kntmendoza.net).  I also use the EOS template for people to place orders directly from my site.

    Hope this helps you

  6. I would either setup your own site or try Smugmug. Do not use Myspace or any other site like that. The people who will be hiring you and paying for the wedding do not have a Myspace account. What training do you have? Shooting a wedding involves more than having a DSLR.

  7. I use a myspace, but thats basically for networking, because it's actually quite difficult to find people in my area via myspace,

Try modelmayhem, although that isn't a real person website.

    Blogger

    and just search around.
