This is a great topic. Forbes did a study and found the top 10 greenest hotels here: http://www.forbestraveler.com/resorts-ho... but nothing about chains as a whole.

Hotels are a major problem as most of them are still not making any changes to go green. Now that there are companies like Enernoc out there that are paying large companies to implement an energy management system, there should be less excuses! http://www.enernoc.com
