my friends say that Century Park Hotel in Vito Cruz has the best buffet in Manila...try them out. but for me, my favorite breakfast/lunch/dinner buffets are in Manila Diamond Hotel (located at the hearth of Malate). I swear, i will eat their everyday...if only i can afford to.

Edsa or Makati Shangri-La serves the best dishes in town. From the main courses down to the appetizers - all of the foods are simply tempting. If you want a cheaper side yet elegant, why not try Angelo King Center - De La Salle College of Saint Benilde Hotel. They also serve luscious menu.

If its in Makati, try Manila Intercon, Shangri La, Peninsula or Mandarin. These are 5 star hotels and pricey but worth it.

For a little less pricey but good accomodation and great food you can also try Crown Plaza in ortigas. They have at least 3 resto bars there all catering from international to local delicacies.

In manila area there is Diamond Hotel or the newly renovated Hotel Sofitel.

for the record, the peninsula manila IS NOT DESTROYED! the new sofitel, it's the home of the SPIRAL, it has more than 5 food stations that would cater your taste.
