The room I want to put the plant in has a large northern exposure but light also comes in from the east and west.

I want to put the plant in front of the window that faces

north but have failed to find one that will grow well.

  1. a lovely fern basket would grow nicely there but would like a 'mist' spray weekly.  also for something large, a yucca tree also would love that space.  philodendrons also grow wildly in those areas.  you may have to re pot that after a year or two.  visit your reputable florist.  they can show you what they all look like.  but you may buy it cheaper elsewhere.  have fun!

  2. Some great plants are a pothos, an english ivy, any ivy for that matter, bamboo plants, african violets, --just remember that a plant at northern exposure does NOT need much watering. Have fun!!
