I have a JVC KD-G420 installed in my car and i was wondering which input would give me better sound quality from my ipod: the Aux input in the front of the stereo or the red and white input on the back of the stereo.

  1. they will both be the same because it is "hard wired" into the radio- you get sub standard sound quality from the FM modulators

  2. If they are both getting the sound out of the headphone jack from the ipod,  it shouldn't make a difference.

  3. I JUST LOOKED UP THAT MODEL AND IF I'M CORRECT THERE ARE NO INPUTS ON THE BACK OF THAT UNIT.

THOSE ARE PREAMP OUTPUTS (for highs and lows) NOT INPUTS!! USED FOR SENDING SOUND SIGNALS TO AN AMP IF ONE IS INSTALLED.

YOU NEED TO JUST USE THE AUX CABLE FOR YOUR MODEL HEAD UNIT.

JVC KS-PD100  <<<THIS IS THE IPOD CABLE YOU NEED

    GOOD LUCK !!
