Which insurers only ask for 3 years accident claim history?

Hi

I am looking to get motor insurance on a new clio 197 and I am 21years old and only 3 years 'named driver' experience. However I need to find an insurance company who only aks for 3 years no claims history as I have had an accident 3 years ago which I was at fault for.

Any recommendations welcome also!

Direct Line and Churchill to name a few.

However, if you only have had three years "named drivers" experience and have not been the main user of the vehicle then most companies will not accept it as proof of no claims discount as such most will have down as having an introductory NCD or at 0.

Have a go on a comparison site like gocompare, moneysupermarket, confused.com, enter your details and go from there.

Obviously, be mindful that the quote you get on the site, may be different to what your chosen insurer gives you as comparison sites have very few criteria which allows them to search many sites at once :D
