  1. Either Piano or Guitar, those instruments are whats going to help you in the future, and the most beneficial!!

  2. If you're talking about wanting to learn then I would definitly say the piano. The piano is to music like marijuana is to drugs. Learning piano will help you learn other instruments....Its the "gateway instrument"

  3. Nice question...I think the piano...you never know what style that you will get after just messing around on it!

  4. I would always start with piano, because you learn to read two different clefs - which can help with other instruments down the road. It's the perfect starting place.

But each has its place - I studied piano, then went to flute (fun for school band), then guitar just for fun and so I could sing along.

I've never heard anyone say they wish they hadn't spent so much time learning to play the piano - it's usually the other way around. Keyboard skills are just great to have.

But the instrument you choose really depends on what you most want to do.

  5. flute!!!!!

  6. no instrument is better than the other.

it is all based on your personal opinion.

do you plan on playing one of those listed? if so, you should try each one out, and see which you prefer, and once you can play that one, give another instrument a try.

  7. Guitar for versatility and fun :-)

When you get past the basic stuff and the hand soreness, all of the pain will be worth it.

  8. I play F.horn, piano, mellophone and violin and I love all of them it just depends on what you want. F horn is pretty tough but when played well, sounds great. a lot of people play piano, it just depends on what you want to use it for

  9. Guitar and piano are the best instruments in my opinion... they are fun to play and are not limited note wise like some instruments.

But really not one instrument is better than another... but... I've played guitar, drums, piano, trumpet, bass guitar and I've messed around on a clarinet and flute.

Out of all of those I found the guitar the best... so just get out there and ask the guy at your music shop to play an instrument, and if you instantly have fun just messing around on it (when you have no idea what you're doing really LOL), then that's what you need to learn and pick up.

  10. Depends on what you want to play, but generally I would say guitar has the widest range of use, followed by piano. Flute and sax can find place in many genres as well. French horn is a bit too specific.

Guitar and piano are the easiest to learn.

  11. french horn and saxophone LOL.I play frenchhorn and trumpet and they r not differcult to play.
