  2. if by foamed in place you mean sprayed on expanding foam then the answer is  ball.

  3. a cavity batt is not a loose fill type ..a batt in the UK is normally a fibre glass matt ..with a fire proof coating ..this is fitted by the bricklayer as he builds the walls ..they are normally sized approx 450 by 1800 ..and are 75 to 100mm thick ..you can get polystyrene batts but are not used often
