  1. hmm not anymore Philippine Airlines, for example already use an A319 whichwas acquired last year or this early years of 2008, Cebu Pacific acquired their A319 andA320 last February the one you are saying is the Air Philippines which uses a B737-200 series an old of course and the Mindanao Express which uses a Dornier aircraft Asian Spirit and Southeast Asian airlines uses old ones but the Asian Spirit Acquired a new a 4 engine aircraft but for short field ladings only

for international airlines, you may want tochoose Lufthansa if you ar in Germany (FRA/EDDF) or Singapore if you are in SIN/WSSS (Singapore)

if you are in Middle East try to use Emirates Etihad, or Qatar Airways and if you're coming in from USA, try using PAL or Asiana Airlines if in ustralia the Qantas is the best choice if you dont like PAL (Philippine Airlines), in Japan since thres no ANA, try using JAL or Northwest

  2. I live in the Phils (US citizen) and fully agree with Jude.

Cebu Pacific is terribly slow when you try to book a flight. You cannot use an American credit card if you attempt to book online.

I fly often here....PAL is usually on time...Cebu Pac....LOL. Sometimes.

Both Cebu Pac and PAL use Airbus 319s and 320s for local flights and short international flights. All new aircraft.

But all of the airlines here are internationally approved regarding safety and maintenance (there was a bit of a problem a few months ago, but that has been rectified).

There are other smaller airlines as well, but I repeat that Jude is right on.

  3. i suggest philippine airlines or cebu pacific if you are in south east asia, philippine airlines or singapore airlines if you are in the rest of asia, europe, australia, and in america

  4. Cebu Pacific. Better service than Asian Spirit.

  5. I flew with Emirates a little over two years ago, and was very impressed.

    I would reccomend them.
