  1. Have not heard of most of the bikes listed. My other half does mountain biking. He rides a Specialized Stumpjumper. I am not sure the price but he has had it for years (5+) and it has been reliable. He is really glad he made the purchase. I don't know if this helps but it might be something to look into.

  2. For the prices of those bikes, you can get a nice used bike from a brand that isn't going to break 5 miles down the road. i suggest looking on http://ebay.com or http://craigslist.com

  3. a mountain bike with out shocks and suspension

  4. The one that feels most comfortable. In That price range, I would recommend for you to look into a used but better made bike. I always say get a used Specialized, Cannondale, Trek, or Gary Fisher, over a new Walmart or other department store bike that is just going to frustrate you if you ride it hard. Good Luck

  5. E. None of the Above.

all these bikes are complete c**p. none of them is actually a mountain bike. these bikes will break, if you ride them on off road trails. a "good mountain bike with shocks" (and I'm assuming you want full suspension, not just front) will run you at least $1000. if you are limited in your budget, please consider a hardtail with rim brakes. good suspensions and disc brakes are expensive. to make these bikes less expensive, major sacrifices were made in the quality of the suspension and brake components. not to mention, the wheel sets will taco with the slightest force, and the drivetrains are made of cheap metal alloys which will bend in the smallest of crashes (which you will have, if you want to mountain bike). even the frames are made of heavier alloys than even the cheapest bike shop brands, and the welds have visible gaps and cracks, on new bikes! do yourself a favor. go to your LBS and tell them you want to get into the MTB scene. tell them your budget. you'll be surprised with what's out there to suit your needs..

  6. for style, the third one

    idk about quality

  7. the second one

  8. have you looked into giant, specialized and yeti? they are really good brands and will never let you down, wether you are hitting up the trails, riding on the road or downhilling.

  9. 4

  10. The first bike.

  11. i dont see the diff ecsept for the color

  12. they all suck

  13. my opinion it the culumbia oh i luv those bikes they ride great and are cheap

  14. The senior titian 08 its alsome

  15. number 2 it has the most detail i hope u find the 1 that suites u best lol!!

  16. Don't buy a department store bike. If you want a good bike but cheap get a used bike. If you buy a department store bike it's going to be heavier, its not going to ride smooth, and overall bad exerience if your into riding. I recommend trek (cuz I have one :)

  17. the best one is the second one, but they are all crappy bikes, get a good reliable brand like giant or fuji. even a used one is better

    bikingthings

  18. If your going to get a bike at least spend up. don't get this wall-mart sh*t. buy a decline or a mountain bike magazine and read up.

  19. ok, dude you need a trek or a specialized dont go wit this walmart c**p
