  1. It depends on your age . Perth is along way from any where  but is a nice quiet city

But Brisbane has a lot more going for it  IF  you can find work . for example the gold coast is not far for great beaches and many theme parks like Dream  World   Warner Bros Movie World & Sea World.

I have been all over Australia & have lived in Brisbane, Sydney,Melbourne, Adelaide,Perth & Darwin.

Sydney & Brisbane are my pick for Australia .

p.s. I now live in the Philippines as i am retired now and the AU$ goes a long way here. hope this helps you

  2. Brisbane and Perth are very similar but Brisbane has so much more to offer in terms of culture, entertainment, growth, employment prospects, and proximity to the eastern coast's major cities.

  3. For younger people wanting to travel around Brisbane (i.e. the East coast) is probably better. For those that are happy to live in one of the most isolated cities, then Perth. The only problem we have is encouraging all the young hoons we have in Perth to go East!

  4. Perth, Perth hands down.

  5. Perth average income is now $63,000 per year according to latest stats meaning that you'd earn more money in Perth.

  6. Perth, Baby, Perth!!! the golden west is where its at! perths a boom town... its got more money than it knows what to do with and its building itself into something BIG! its the sunniest capital city in aus, its got fantastic beaches (brisbane is located on a muddy, sludge bay) the people r chilled out and its got the best seafood on the planet!
