Question:

Which is a better country to do the MBA - USA, New Zealand or Australia?

my friend (who has a bachelors degree from India) wishes to do his MBA from one of these places.do u know a college which would

a) accept him though he has only been self-employed (part-time) for the past 5 yrs

b) help him take his mother along??

hope someone would help me out....thanx anyway

  1. country does not matter.  The USA has many of the best universities, but it also has hundreds of second rate institutions.  You would want to get into a good competitive school.  Its not all based on university ranking.  In NZ for example, Auckland is the top ranked university, but Waikato has the best management specialization in their business school.  A Bachelor's degree from India would struggle to get into a competitive MBA program.  Indeed, it generally takes a master's degree from India to get in at say honours level (the years before an MBA).  

    From what I know, colleges would not assist with supporting his mother come to the country.  In fact, he would have to be exceptional as an international student to even get funding to support his study by himself.  The best method is to do your own research into various institutions, entry requirements, and whether you can get accepted into the country to study.
