Which is a better game??

I do not know much about baseball (ok, maybe nothing). My Dad is turning 60 and my mom and I want to buy him tickets to a baseball game for his birthday. We are from Tampa. He really likes the Devil Rays alot. We want to buy him tickets for him and his friends to a good game but have no idea about divisions or rivals or anything like that. Remaining home games are against:

Twins, Red SOx, New York, Angels, Blue Jays, Orioles.

Which will be a good game? or does it not matter that much in baseball?

I'd say the Yankees is probably the best simply because it is the Yankees.  But the Red Sox, Blue Jays and Orioles are in the same division as TB so those would be pretty good ones too.  

I'd look for them in this order;

vs Yankees

vs Boston

vs Angels

vs Twins

vs Blue Jays

vs Orioles

Definitly get a Sox game. The brawl in Fenway a few months back was the last time they got into it. And the Red Sox are right behind the Rays in the division. So if your looking for a good game then you should grab some for the Rays-Sox game soon.

Buy him tickets for a Red Sox game. The Rays and the Red Sox are major rivals right now, so that would be the perfect birthday present.

the red sox are their main rival and they are in a division race together. they are rivals definitely and probably the 2 overall best teams in baseball.in my opinion. those games are always exciting no matter the outcome.and if your lucky you guys might even get to see a brawl between the teams haha. but yeah if i were you i would choose red sox,but hurry,those ones sell out fast

Of that group, I would say Red Sox, Yankees (division rivals in a fairly close race for no more than two playoff spots) or Angels (arguably best team in baseball).

I've already got ticket for the Ray vs Yankees Sept. 4th.  When these two teams get together it's always great fun.  It gives him a chance to see Jeter, A-Rod, as well as his own team.

Get tickets for a Devil Rays Red Sox game.  Those two team are fighting each other for 1st place in the AL East.

Well Red Sox and Yankees are both competing with the Rays for the division and all are very close in that race.  The Angels are the best team in baseball right now so that's always a good game to see.  After those 3 teams the rest aren't really worth it.

I'd go with either the Red Sox or the Yankees. The Rays, Sox and Yankees are the three teams that are really contending for the AL East. I always think that games later in the season between teams contending for a division are more exciting.

well, if you want to go to a game where they will most likely win, go with the baltimore orioles, but if you want to see a good game against a good team, then go with the angels.

I'd go with Red Sox. They are in 2nd behind the Rays and they really beat up on the Sox last time they played each other.

The Rays are fighting for the AL East championship against the Red Sox and the Yankees. So those are the two games you should go see. If you have to pick one, then check the schedule and see which series will be more important when you go. Also take a look at the players, which players does your dad like?  In the Yankees there's ARod, IRod, Abreu, Mariano, Giambi, Jeter. In the Sox there is no more Manny but there is Big Papi, Varitek, Lester, Dice K, etc.

If he is a Rays fan, then any game would be good. But I would go with either the Red Sox or Yankees. Those two would be the most exciting. Those games will be really important because all three teams are contenders for a playoff spot. So try for either of those teams. I guess whichever one you can get better seats for.
