My daughter is almost 5 months, And I still didnt buy a stoller for her because we rarely go out. I only have a car seat, and I'm thinking of buying her stroller. Should I buy a travel system that includes an infant seat and a stroller or just a stroller by itself?

Any product recomendations?

thanks

  1. At this point I would get the stroller by itself.  Most of the travel systems come with an infant seat and you won't be needing another one of those.  I have a Graco stroller.  I love mine,  it is easy to fold and light weight.

  2. I would say go to consignment shop or graigslit and get a used stroller.  If you don't go out that much and already have a car seat I think that would be a good option.  If not, just got to walmart or babiesrus and try them out and get one the fits you and your budget.

  3. At this age, I wouldn't say it's worth it for you to buy a travel system.  They only go up to around 22 lbs, and if you already have a car seat, it becomes redundant.  I have a travel system and the stroller is rather big and heavy.  I bought a lightweight stroller by Graco and take it everywhere.  It is very easy to fold and lift and it's got 2 positions for the baby so he can sit or lie down.  It also has a basket underneath which is important because I put the diaper bag there.

  4. buy just a stroller, i bought a chicco stroller 2 months ago and i love it..its so easy and lightweight..i bought a travel system before my baby was born and i have yet to use the big bulky stroller ...he's 6 months

  5. Just a stroller by itself.  She'll probably outgrow the infant seat very shortly.

  6. At this point you already have the infant seat... why get another one? I would just get a stroller. At 5 months she is old enough to sit in a regular stroller, just make sure you get one that reclines.

  7. You should just buy the stroller by itself because you already have a infant seat and then if you get the travel system you will have 2 infant seats and in like 6 more months you will be needing a booster seat anyway for when she outgrows those 2. So i wouldnt waste money on another infant seat because you will have 2 and there's no need unless you plan on having more children anytime soon!!
