  1. guinea pigs are hard to handle in my opinion rabbits are more sociable then guinea pigs more pricey but better

  2. GUINEA PIGS.  Guinea pigs love to snuggle and cuddle and don't bite.  Rabbits don't snuggle alot they just play.   Guinea pigs love to do both though!

it cost me 180$ for the guinea pig, cage, two types of food, treats, toys and you know its needs.

    Enjoy your new pet!

  3. I'd say 2 guinea pigs so they could have a buddy their own kind. And they are cute, but I like both bunnies & pigs. They are both good pets, but the bunny may be a bit more active and they love to chew stuff up, especially wires.

Either animal could bite and neither are too too needy (ala dog) but you need to care for them properly and not man-handle them otherwise they will bite.

  4. Okay if the options are 1 rabbit or 2 guinea pigs then  it is the guinea pigs hands down because they need companionship.

  5. I've had both guinea pigs and rabbits and the rabbits were gone within a month both times. The rabbits kick really hard with their back feet and will hurt a small child so if you are young or have younger brother or sister it could hurt them on accident. Rabbits are also very smelly no matter how much you clean.

I got one guinea pig 5 months ago and a new guinea pig every month so now i have 5. I love them. They are so cute and although it takes a while for them to get used to you, they will eventually learn to sit on your lap and cuddle and not want to run away. You can teach them tricks. My oldest guinea pig will do circles for treats and one sits up for them. I like having 5 because at least one is always doing something cute and fun to watch if the others are sleeping. I have boys though and I have to keep them in 2 cages. Girls get along with each other better so I would suggest getting girls.

Get the c&c cage. You can get the grids at target for 15.00 and its way better than the ones at the petstore that are 40-50. But you have to get a bottom. Get a big tupperware at target or get some choroplast from a sign store.

  6. Guinea pigs! But make sure you get two that way they will give each other company! They are really sweet, and love attention! :]

  7. both rabbits and guinea pigs are very needy and high maintenance. but i prefer rabbits. both bite and neither particularly enjoy humans. guinea pigs are very messy, and so are rabbits. guinea pigs are always afraid, where as rabbits tend to be aggressive. guinea pigs are noisy and rabbits are not playful. positives about rabbits though is that they are all around better than guinea pigs! but i think you are wanting the wrong animals.
