So it has been a long search and finally it's down to four. I want to move out of St.Louis, but cant decide which one of these big cities would be the best place to live. Job is not an issue for me and my husband, our company is in all these states. I absolutely love beaches, warm weather and big cities. My family's in St.Louis, so chicago would be one closest to home and a good place to move, even though it's cold. But is it worth leaving family for NY, Dallas or San Diego? You pick, I will decide my city based on your answers. Thanks!

  1. new york has beaches and its huge, but chicago may be the best in terms of large city and reasonable real estate because new york has insane real esate prices, so suburbs would be the most realistic, but it is a great place to live, san diego woud have more of what youre looking for but its also high real estate prices like new york.

  2. If your requirements are beaches, warm weather and big city, out of that list it's simple ---- San Diego.

  3. chicago hands down

yes ny is so famous and popular and is a very excellent city, but it is dirty and hard to get around.

vote dallas out- thats not a big city and you wont be happy

san diego is a great city and beaches are there, but chicago is still amazing

its clean, not alot of crime, huge city, and beaches

its so warm- but also can get cold in the winter...but its a good ballance.

    go to chicago!

  4. Well if you can afford it i would def go with new york! its absolutely amazing. That's where I want to go but I dont think i could afford that so if you cant, then go to chicago. Im not a texas person and san diego also looks amazing but i need all four seasons not just summer. So in the end i would most likely pick chicago, its pretty much a smaller version of new york, its also really great! good luck with your move!

  5. Dallas is more than 8 hours away from the nearest gross beach in the Gulf of Mexico.

I would pick San Diego if you love big cities, warm weather and beaches. They have great beaches and the weather is warm, but not sweltering and/or humid like some of the other places listed. It's a pretty city with hills, awesome parks and great culture. Both of my brothers liked it so much they moved there after having taken business trips to SD.

  6. If you like warm weather then go for San Diego

  7. well I live in NY and absolutely love it!

I tried Miami, but it didn't feel right for me, even though I love warm weather.

I can never leave NY, I just love how I can do anything and everything 24/7, it's never boring, there's always someplace to go, and I never feel uncomfortable anywhere I go. I love it!
