Which is a better speaker Definitiive Tech promonitor or Mirage Omni?

I agree with the previous poster.  You have to hear them in person. I was all set to buy one set of speakers on line, then I went to a local showroom to hear them.  I'm glad I did, because I didn't care for the sound at all.  I ended up getting a completely different brand.

I would go and listen to both and see which one sounds better to you. Def Tech and Mirage both make great speakers.  But sound is different for every person, so what I may like, you may hate.  I would also try and see if you can find some online reviews.  Also check the frequency response of each speaker.  If using for home theater, you wanna make sure that they have a deep enough bass extension to blend with a subwoofer.

I would check out a site like Audioreview.com and click speakers, then "D" for Def tech and then look for the model number and you will get reviews from regular people who are brutally honest about if a speaker is c**p or not.
