Which is a better value: A 16GB iPod Touch, or an 8GB iPhone (1st generation)?

Question

They're both in good condition, but the iPod Touch is in slightly better condition. I have offers to buy either one or the other at 300 dollars.

I need an iPod, and I already have At&t as a carrier. I like the idea of having an all-in-one device, but I don't NEED an iPhone...

i'd go with the 16gb ipod and other cellphone....'cause with the iphone you have to choose a data plan and they're expensive....with the ipod you can surf on the internet using wi-fi without cost....

keep the touch better storage capacity same features as iphone subtract phone

and with the iphone you get random bills and less copacity

you can aways have a ipod touch and a phone like the razor
