Which is a better water filter, Pur or Brita?

I just bought a Brita and love it. Also I noticed that the replacement filters are easier to find than the Pur filters.

My Brita lets you use non-filtered water in a stream or spray as well as the filtered water.

I am hooked.

We are happy with Brita. We've been using that brand for years with no trouble.

My wife and I bought a faucet mounted Brita filter about five years ago.  The water was great, but the unit housing broke off of the faucet within a month.  We got a replacement and found that it is incredibly easy to accidently run hot water through it.  After ruining two filters in this way we decided to try Pur.  We have gone with Pur ever since.  I am sure that the filtration technology is essentially the same, and the real difference is only in the way the unit operates.

tell the truth none! cuz we get ours in pa and we get it from a mountain and o my gosh once you get it its cold! but its so good!
