Woodstock north east of gare Du Nord, is a great hostle. I met so many people who were intrested in seeing the same sights I was. I was able to travel paris with friends. I spent about $15.45 (US) a night.

All of them are all the same price. Consider this: French hate Americans, and upon arriving at the hostel they will lock you down and torture you to death, unless you are lucky and end up freeing a girl who's eye looks like it has honey mustard in it and ends up jumping in front of a train. That's a big question and i challenge anyone to give a correct answer.

This website allows you to sort by price, star rating and location, so it might come in very handy. I noticed prices for 2 in a 3 star start at 25euros, which would be cheaper than a hostel [ for 2 or  ] with much better facilities and possibly location. Hostels are only cheaper if there is one person travelling.
