Which is a good, safe & near train station suburb to purchase a 2bed apartment in Sydney Australia ?

I guess that all depends on how much you want to spend.

I find that the northern line is pretty good - West Ryde is a good suburb and there are heaps of units.

As for being safe, well, I guess anything can happen at any suburb but I lived at West Ryde for eight years and always found it fairly safe.

I think two bedroom units around there are going for about $300,000, depending on the condition.

Auburn?

There are plenty of newly built apartments.

The station is fairly close to the new apartments. The station itself isn't that far from the city.

It's a pretty good suburb.
