I'm at the high school level 4.0 and up

I love top spin but not too much(like Nadal) and I like to pull out drop shots with backspin. I'd like to keep my big serve too

I'm considering The Wilson Kfactor racquets as well as The Tecnifibre Tflight racquets, I'm also open to Head/Babolat racquets. I have owned the Prince Speedsport Black and Babolat AeroPro drive(the nadal racquet)

Also if you could give suggestions for strings that would be good for the specific racquets that would be great.

  1. Use the Babolat AeroPro Drive with Cortex. (Used by Rafael Nadal). It is perfect for everything you described!!!! =) =)

  2. The Nadal's ofcourse...

  3. For a Big serve i would get a head microgel, Prince O3 tour, BAbolat Pure Drive or Babolat Aero Pro. These are the most powerful rackets avaliable at the moment. You can also balance the power with control eg: Sythetic Gut(Any Brand really it dosnt matter) in crosses and a spin string in the mains(Pro hurricane tour, Signum pro poly plasma).

And another good thing about these rackets is there string pattern 16x19 this string pattern provides more spin than the 18x20 because there is more space for the string to grip the ball.

If u like to drop shot heaps i would get the strings strung tight this provides less power with more placement.

I have a Babolat Pure Drive Cortex and this really adds a pop to your serve if you know wat i mean.

It dosent matter if you get a racket with or with out cortex. It doesnt add and power or take away any power it is about the vibration you feel with each hit but if u ask me i cant tell a differece. But if i was you i would get HEAD microgel, PRINCE O3 Tour, BABOLAT Pure Drive and try these rackets out ur self no-one is the better judge than you.

Don't Forget these are only recomendations.

    Cheers Brad

  4. i'd suggest you try to look at the Babolat Aero 112. it has larger headsize than Nadal's (112 vs 100 sq in) to help you keep the serve big and it's easier to make topspins. it is lighter to help you maneuver at the net. it has smart, ergonomic grip that is comfortable in your hand. the stringing pattern is 16x19. try to string it using Babolat Hurricane as mains at 58 lbs and Babolat Xcel as crosses at 55 lbs. hope it helps :)
