  1. Crime is pandemic.  Many are because a persons brain is "defective" because of drugs.  They can't think logically.  If addicted they will commit crimes to get their "fix".  Crimes of jealousy/greed/anger are committed by people who "can" think logically but have decided not to.  They are slaves to their desires.  They think, "I want what I want and I'll take it even if I have to step on others to get it."  Those crimes have been since the beginning of the world.  My opinion is those probably  occur more.

  2. emotional crimes far outweigh drug related

  3. Definitely drug crime: but hold on, it is only because officers actively seek it out.

Jealousy, greed, and anger crimes only happen when the person feels the emotion often times resulting in the victim not calling the police or reporting it.

People are always doing drugs.  And officers are always searching for the people and the drugs; they can only respond to the calls for service in the community for the greed, etc motivated crimes.

  4. emotional because usually if you get to the point where your going to kill some one, you have to have some kind of emotions towards them
