  1. Symbol of Christianity as described by Jesus;

    John 13:34,35

I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.”

  2. the open tomb as a symbol has already been taken by dracula.

  3. It would probably be the crucifix, because it was the death, not the resurrection, that got us saved of our sins.  The resurrection was to CONFIRM our faith in salvation, it wasn't the salvation itself.

  4. the cross is the best symbol for christianity because it symbolizes jesus's sacrifice for all us humans, his love and faith, and acceptance of his destiny, that's what being christian is all about, loving the one beside you unconditionally and being able to sacrifice your happiness and even yourself for the ones you love, self-sacrifice being the ultimate proof of love

  5. Well, the fish was the first symbol Christians adopted, and you still see it around today.  The cross has made more headway because of the enormous value for contemplation it has.

  6. The best symbol is communion, the partaking of bread and wine to commemorate the sacrifice of Christ on on our behalf.

  7. It was Jesus's death that gave us the gift of salvation. So the Crucifix would be the right symbol

  8. I think an open tomb would be better. If Jesus died 30 years ago, maybe Christians would wear little electric chairs.

Who would want to wear a symbol of torture and death?

  9. the guy and the girl riding off into the sunset in an open convertible with lots of firewater and a lot of them funny cigarettes...

  10. Both. God knows our hearts.

  11. The open tomb or an empty cross, with Jesus NOT on it.

  12. The open tomb. The resurrection is way more important than the crucifixion. Without the resurrection, there would be no forgiving of sins. And is why a lot of people search for Jesus' sepulcher and/or remains.

  13. The crucifix is certainly not an appropriate symbol of Christianity.

The crucifix is an appropriate symbol of Roman Catholicism, because Christ is continually being sacrificed in the Mass, and thus constantly on the cross.

  14. More appropriate would be an X over the brain.

  15. 1.)Crucifixion-Cross

    2.)Resurrection-Open tomb

    -Till He Returns

    God Bless

  16. The Crucifix is more appropriate, because Jesus died for our sins.  Besides, without the crucifix, there would be no empty tomb, hence no resurrection.
