Which is a quiter pet parrot a lovebird or a parrotlet?

i have bred both lovebirds and parrotlets love birds are a bit quieter but they can both be loud at times  i would go for a lovebird

I don't own lovebirds but do have two parrotlets.  While then can chirp rather stridently when they set their minds to it, they still are fairly quiet birds that are suitable for apartment living.  Mine are rarely "noisy" - meaning they rarely make racket.  It is far more usual for them to chortle quietly in their cages.

Neither is quiet really. Both are rather loud as all all birds. A quiet bird is normally a sick one. If you want a quiet bird then you should re-think a bird as a pet. I have owned many birds and none were quiet. Please know I am not meaning to come off mean and rude. But to often I have seen owners get rid of birds because of their noise level.
