There is a place on the Ghodbunder Road called Hotel Surekha. The place has no good looks and also it is located on the highway.  But personally since I have tasted a lot of food in and around Mumbai.  The chicken curry here is made in malvani style and is really spicy ( you will have to tell them to make it less spicy you will be safe).  But their gavti chicken curry is out of this world.  Also if there please try the prawn fry and fish (pomphret) fry.  You wont regret it.

Any of our friends who eaten at the place always remember it and come back again and again.
