Which is best to help me tone up yoga or pilates ?

i dont want to get bulky though i want my legs to go slimmer

  1. Either one but the Pilate's will tone the legs more.  Getting legs slimmer is very difficult unless you are doing something that changes the basic structure of the legs.  Long distance running is an example of this.  The body will shed any and all bulk that is not needed with this activity.  Now this is a slow process and it must be done consistently for it to work.  Yoga and Pilate's will take time to tone the area and neither will make you bulky.


  2. Pilates of course! yoga takes twice as much to tone you up than pilates. I've been on pilates program since last week and I'm already seeing the difference.

  3. Pilates is probably best for toning.  Yoga is so low-impact, low-energy that it would take a while to see much change from it.  If you do pilates often but don't overdue it, you should just get slimmer rather than bulking up.

  4. I choose answer C, weightlifting. Girls cannot "bulk up".. they don't have enough testosterone. Muscle occupies less space than fat and it also burns fat. Therefore it is logical that your goal should be to build muscle mass. You do that by lifting weights.. in your case, squatting.

  5. Yoga is good for you. Try it! You'll get beautiful slimmer legs, keep and improve your entire body shape..
