Which is better, Cigna or Blue Cross insurance?

I can tell you out of twelve carriers for dental Cigna reimburses doctors the least....so that's not good.because their provider list becomes slimmer because dentists won't want to take it.  A dentist charges roughly $120 for a filling.  Cigna reimburses only ~$56.  The next lowest is 20% higher and then all the way up to $~$110.

The insurance is ok, but I'd rather be on BlueCross.  Just switched from Cigna to Blue Cross at the end of March.

Of course it will depend on where you live.

Depends on which state you live and also what provider does each of these companies carry...also hospitals ...what benefits does each carrier carry.

In California if I have to choose between the two, I would pick Blue Cross. I have never heard of Cigna before...in this part of town. Check for more options. Make sure your PCP accepts this insurance company.

i thin signa but blue cross is slowly getting the worse end of it apparently they (alot of doctors) are dropping it cause they are not getting paid from that company so they are banding together and not taking this insurance.
