I have a PSP, and I love it! I have a large screen game player, music player, video player, picture bank, wifi enabled. I can expand the memory with Sony Memory Sticks, etc.

There are a number of games for the PSP and many keep getting launched. Many top games are available as well

Well ds has a touch screen so thats cool also you could use wifi and play games with people around the world.

While psp has internet acsess but i think ds cause ds is more fun because there are good games to play throgh wifi.

ok it seems that everyone else who posted doen't know what custom firmware is...if you get the PSP and put custom firmware onto it you can play NES, SNES, GBA/GBC, N64 and PSX games from your PSP...you can even put PSP games onto your memory card so you dont need to carry around your UMD's...also custom themes for your home screen make the PSP the best handheld for today.

if youre below the age of 12 you should get A DS IF YOU LIKE MARIO AND pokemon and starfox and those things

if youre above the age of 13 and you like games like gta and metal of honor get the psp

i have both and i like them both but the psp is cooler because you can store movies and video and audio

PSP is all about the graphics and existing ps2 games mostly. You can put in PSP format movies easily from popular PSP websites and store musics. The games are region free but not the movies. The games are expensive though. The PSP is more expensive than DS.

DS is all about interactivity with the games, such as blowing up a balloon in a game by blowing on the screen. There is also a built in microphone. It can also support multiplayer through wifi. DS has lower graphics than a PSP. DS doesn't have DS format movies. But you can easily get the games off the net like a PSP. DS games are not region free

I have a DS so, I may sound biased, as I have never even played a psp. But as an owner of a DS, I would recommend getting one, whether you get a PSP or not.
