I think both are interesting. I am a migrant in Australia and i follow eels and swans.

    

     AFL has more free flowing game as players can hold ball for as long they can and kick hand ball anywhere they want.          

        Where as in NRL i like the controlled flow as both teams get the chance to play and its a hard hitting game. Who don't wanna see a shoulder charge and big hits.

So I would say love both watch both.
